Cape Town Railway Station Upgrade - Western Cape
Commissioned by Chand Environmental Consultancy, on behalf of Transnet to evaluate the archaeological sensitivity of Erf 148638, earmarked as part of the Cape Town Station Revitalization project to upgrade the City’s core transport hub by 2030. The rationale for this approach was to provide a working tool and make this available to town planners and the heritage authorities as part of the project planning and design process.
Inner City Bus Depot, Cape Town - Western Cape
Commissioned by MDA Project Managers, on behalf of the City of Cape Town to evaluate the presence of 19th century graves prior to demolition and remodeling of the site. The results of this analysis were made available to project engineers and the heritage authorities as part of the project planning, public consultation and design process.
